Update

Hey guys,

I've been trying to be more frequent in trying to post more sheet music. I have no idea if anyone actually reads or pays attention to this blog at all but in case there is one person out there eagerly awaiting more flute music I want to get it out there...although I highly doubt anyone is really waiting for music eagerly. Anyways, I want to try to be more regular with writing music but recently school and work have been quite overpowering and I haven't had time for myself.

My process is quite simple, I play notes by ear. I've always been good at feeling and hearing music rather than reading it like theory. I enjoy writing songs by what I hear rather than focusing on the theory of it since I suck at theory, my brain just doesn't work that way. It's why I have always been more creative and artsy than mathematical. I'm also someone who doesn't like concentrating on something for a long period of time so I have probably ten songs in the works right now but I just haven't finished them because I need to take constant breaks and move onto other things. So my goal is to post those songs either today or within the next three days.

Any songs posted today I will make sure to look at tomorrow. I always try my best to triple check my work to make sure there are no mistakes but I left my flute at school and I only have my piccolo to play. The piccolo isn't mine either so it's very airy and slightly out of tune. Songs posted today will be partially written when I have my piccolo but since the two instruments are very very similar there are no differences in the sheet music hopefully. Again, I will check back tomorrow when I have my own flute, I just want to post some things today.

For the two people who bothered to read this, I thank you, hopefully I haven't bored you to death with my rambling.

Carry on,
-McKenna

*Guitar solo*
*When I play this song I usually play it in a low octave rather than the high so when it comes to the guitar solo I can play it high, I find it easier that way but it's up to you as it generally sounds the same. Also, it's seriously hard trying to figure out the guitar notes for the flute on any song because I write the songs by ear. Some of these notes in the solo may be a little off, if so just let me know. Thanks!!
